The glorious Aberystwyth Arts Centre has been home to the EYE Festival from our start in 2012. With its comfortable 300 seat Theatre, multiple gallery spaces, cafe/restaurant and bar - it has everything we need to stage a fantastic photography festival.
This great arts space, one of the best in Wales, also allows us to provide activities in or outdoors and a competition exhibition in the cafe area - playing host to finalist photographs from Ffoton's all-Wales participatory Instagram project for 2018: #portraitcymru
As one of the most popular holiday destinations on the beautiful West Wales coast, Aberystwyth has a plentiful supply of Hotels, B&B's and rental properties in the town and surrounding area. And being a University town, there are numerous cafes, restaurants and bars serving food; culturally interesting places to visit and things to do during your trip or stay. The town has two beaches, castle ruins, a pier, harbour and the longest electric cliff railway in Britain on Constitution Hill at the northern end of the town's promenade.
Bring a camera!
A number of Hotels with sea views and to suit various tastes are situated right on the promenade and there are a variety of B&B hosts around the town and in the nearby area.
