Vanley Burke is a British Jamaican photographer and artist. Known as the Godfather of Black British Photography.

In 1967 he made a conscious decision to document the black community and lifestyle in England.

His work has been exhibited and used for documentaries, TV books and album covers such as UB40's Geffrey Morgan.

His collection is maintained by Birmingham City Council and he has been the subject for a BBC documentary Through The Eyes of Vanley Burke
